Charcoal after braaing

As the heading states, what do you guys do after you finished braaing how do you put off the flaming charcoal (water it down or just leave it to cool down over night) what's the right way to put out charcoal out without damaging your braai stand?

If you have this problem you

a) Do not drink enough
b) need to learn how to braai with the right amount of charcoal
c) you should buy a gass braai.



Just kidding, what Bwana said is the easiest. Watering it down might cause the braai to bend.
