Cheap Media Player

Im looking for a MP that plays Hx265. Ive got a pos Sansui from that even struggles with MKV.

Budget is R1000. HDD not necessary.

Doubt you'll find a decent H265 for under a grand, I was looking at the MiBox but reckon ill wait till the next version comes along.

I went to Mitabyte and saw a 4K Android media player for about R 599. You can install Kodi on it as well.

I got an MXQ Pro for R650 (Gumtree)... seems like a decent basic player.
Not a fan of the ridiculous input controls across Android apps, but I manage between the default remote and air mouse/kb.

Picked up a MxQ Pro for R800 odd. Plays everything.
