Cheaper Android and cheaper data bundles from Vodacom

BLAH BLAH BLAH...my bank still seeing huge debits by VODSCUM. Future...LMFAO...I'll be gone by then...

Keep bundles at same price, but double the data.

The Vodafone 945 would be a awesome deal if it retails for R700. Wow. Much improved compared to its birth mother the Vodafone 845 with small resistive touch screen and low resolution.

Looking forward to cheaper data bundles in the bis range please

Cheaper bundles... blah blah blah...
I still haven't seen any sign of this. No sorry I have, they're at Cell C!

+1 for cheaper bundles

I've been hit hard by VCM since I've changed from Virgin Mobile :/

Well, I see they're making mega loads of money ripping off the SA public, just glad I hardly made any contributions to those financials this year.
Actually, just worked it out, make that zero contributions.

Vodacom is the ONLY cellphone operator that doesn’t offer their BlackBerry customers any extra’s such as FREE sms’s & FREE YouTube streaming. Vodacom need to rethink and enhance their BlackBerry offering! Cellphone operator 8ta is offering their BlackBerry clients 500MB FREE YouTube streaming per month.

This is what they are about... Getting more $$$ out of the consumer each and every way they can.

Other interesting pointers that came out of the results include:

-A 4.5% increase in revenues to R61.2bn from R58.5bn in the prior period.
-EBITDA margins remained stable at 33.7% with the group generating R20.6bn EBITDA in the current financial year.
-Operating profit improved by 21.9% to R13.7bn, from R11.2bn previously, despite a further impairment of R1.5bn of the Gateway operations.
-Contract customers grew by 14% to 5.1m, and ARPU – average revenue per user –grew to R157 from R132.
-Vodacom declared a final dividend of 280c per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to 460c per share.
-It appears that the market liked Vodacom’s latest set of results as its share price closed at a 52-week high of R81.70, up 2% from Friday’s close.

I've now had the second incident where a contact is opened with my banking details and a debit order occurs monthly. R 1200.00 debited this month alone, and waiting to them to pay back my money for over a week now!!
