Cheapest pay as you go out there

Hi, what would you say is the cheapest pay as you network today between telkom, cell c, mtn and Vodacom when it comes to buying bundles and calling, especially when you can't afford uncapped. Usually Vodacom is more expensive than the rest.
 
Most probably Telkom. But then you won’t have network to use those minutes or data. Remember cheap is always cheap for a reason.
 
True. I'm looking for which makes more sense. Like afrihost data bundles are good
 
Cheapest prepaid for calls, Telkom Thola More, cheapest for prepaid mobile data, afrihost.
 
Cell C Home Connecta Flexi is the cheapest for prepaid data. I think it's R229 for a 50+50GB bundle. Telkom is R359 for a 40+40GB bundle or R459 for a 60+60GB bundle. I think that you can also get a 30GB 30 day MTN prepaid bundle for R199.

You must have meant the 100 GB (anytime data) for R200 for 30 days. I have seen this bundle on a few of my MTN prepaid sims. Not sure if it is offered to everybody.

is this the best value package?
just bought a new mobile router as the one for work has certain level of data loaded and with load shedding we need to be able to do things on another dongle

Cell c or the afrihost bundles?
 
You may want to try out Cell C and Afrihost before deciding. Nowadays I would say the decision is based more on whose tower stays on and has bandwidth during load shedding.

I didn't know about this 100GB bundle. That is a much better deal than the 30GB that I mentioned and also better than the Afrihost 40+40GB Fixed LTE bundle for R199 which is restricted to certain routers and one location. I would be very interested to get more details if anybody else has managed to purchase it.

I'm hoping to learn more about that 100GB MTN bundle which ajax mentioned. The Cell C HCF bundle can be rolled over indefinitely which is very convenient but the MTN product should offer much better speeds and mobility.
 
I have now checked all 3 of my MTN sims (all prepaid). They all offer the 100 GB for R200 for 30 days.

Many thanks for the feedback. I may switch over to this if I continue to have problems with Cell C HCF. I didn't know that MTN offered this bundle. I recently made enquiries at an MTN store regarding a cheap month to month contract and nobody mentioned this prepaid bundle!

Ahh there you go, you just answered my question, so they don't perform the same.
 
That MTN deal is shady, its 20+20GB normal data and 60GB Youtube social data
