Cheapest uncapped 384K for own router

Anyone know the cheapest 384K ADSL account with which I can use my own router? Our AV/Antispam updates are consuming 40GB per month, and I'd like to move it off our diginet line because it seriously affects browsing speeds at times.

IS based (which aren't?) - been rantings about speed, if you're needing it for AV updates... who cares about speed.
 
I don't think the IS account will be suitable because of the 5GB threshold. 40GB is a lot to download at only 192K - in theory it will work, but you can't expect to get at least 192K all the time.
 
I think the 512K option may be best. Everyone's price is similar, but Gamco allows 2 concurrent connections whereas the rest only allow one. Anyone know anything about this?

Brightmail. We logged a call with Symantec and they told us the updates are not incremental and are "not designed for low bandwidth environments". Unfortunately, we are stuck with the product, because everything else we tried was letting to much junk through and had too many false positives.

Unfortunatly

"Though 2 x Concurrent connections are advertised, the second concurrent connection is designed to assist customers when there connection is sometimes locked on the network allowing them a second option to connect."
 
Also cheaper on the 512K...by 80c a month. ;)
 
Openweb 512K account ordered, let's see how fast it's activated after accounts sends through proof of payment.
 
Well, perhaps consider Imagine, even though there is a R560 (incl VAT) startup fee, fees per month are R765 (excl vat) or R872.10 per month (incl vat).

Note that P2P is blocked completely, but there are no thresholds !

No good - we need to use our own router as we have SAIX accounts for other traffic as well.
 
Cheapest uncapped

Well I'm using the 384kb uncapped on Openweb I saw that thresholds a real turnoff if you ask me but so far nothings happend to my account I'm still running 100%. If they do start implementing that threshold then I guees it would be a total waste to use it except if youre on a 192kb line. They have also notinormed me yet about those thresholds so who knows might be my last month on uncapped.
