Audi recently gave it a book value of R250k.
That link valued it at R338k.

What is correct?

What does your insurer say its worth?

Mine is pretty much smack on with the insured value.

Will he chuffed if it's value is more than what I paid, and even better, what I still owe.

Make sure your insurance includes credit shortfall (when you talk to your broker). Most personal lines insurers should do it automatically. If the value stated in the schedule includes the shortfall, the policy must cover the finance amount owing in excess of retail value.
