Only one side plays rugby the proper way in this country. We shouldn't be surprised.
 
Adriaan Strauss was definitely not missed today.

He was however somewhat missing in the Bulls game tonight. Don't think he is 100% fit yet.

Even my mother in law sent me a message about the Cheetahs beating her team.

Must have taken all her strength to do it. :D
 
How do you guys think Joe Peterson played? I think this type of Rugby suits his play style more. He was good at the Stormers and I believe he filled that no10 jersey perfectly. He has the right balance of tactical kicking and running smart. I got very excited every time the backs got the ball. The Cheetahs have a chance if they can build on the game of Saturday. Was a great game to watch with some great rugby by the Cheetahs.
 
Think Joe brings a calmness to the Cheetahs backs.

Not getting too excited though. If I remember correctly Joe was always a good player against SA opposition but for some or other reason struggled against NZ opposition specifically.

But yeah. Nice confidence booster for the Cheetahs after two losses in the preseason.

I really hope he can build on what he did on Saturday. I mean he messed up little towards the end but he had a good first SR game. The test would be like you said, against players like Barret, Cruden and the likes.
 
Only Cheetahs and Stormers that had a good weekend last weekend it seems

Cheetah's had a nice game. They tackled well and the defence was amazing.

Cheetahs are on a bye... but will stay warmed up for the next game. And also be watching whats happening in the Super15 games this weekend. Very good start for the Cheetah's this weekend.
 
Lions, Bulls and Sharks had a raw start last weekend... (eish)

A good game. I can't believe Lood got a stupid yellow card that cost us :( Also lineouts were lost but I think with time the cheetahs will get much better.
