Quality of life short term = much better (no yucky chemo, the effects of chemo are not fun)
Quality of life long term = non existent
Life Expectancy = see "Quality of life long term"

As to Gerson Therapy please dude don't recommend that stuff to people suffering from cancer it is potentially dangerous. When you're suffering from a dread disease listen to your doctors they're not trying to scam you.

gerson therapy:
cost: no effect on cancer (see earlier link from the american cancer society); coffee enemas aren't everyone's cup of tea.
benefit: avoiding chemo in the short term.

do nothing:
cost: no effect on cancer
benefit: avoiding chemo and gerson therapy in the short term

chemo:
cost: painful in the short term
benefit: significant improvement in survival long term.

alternatively you could try my banana remedy. it's still in trial, results look promising and we all know that bananas are delicious.

All the best wrathex. We going to visit my brother on sunday and this will be the first time we will see him since he was diagnosed with cancer and since he has been on chemo. We don't know what to expect. He has also had an op to have some sort of gadget placed in his chest.
 
Wouldn't wish what you're going through on my worst enemy. Keep strong! Avoid sick people at all costs. My mom got a bad case of flu in the height of her chemo treatment and it was quite touch & go for a while.

Don't dwell on what could go wrong. We're all thinking of you.
 
Good luck with it, Interferon I was on was no picnic! And the radiation was hell, I almost gave up... very close, if it were not for my wife I would have run "black ops" style on that radiation machine with a whole bunch of C4, nades & stickies! Hang in there... there will be good days and bad, keep your loved ones in the loop, and rely on them, don't be proud or stubborn. You are brave for what you have already completed, go in fighting and never give in!

I'm 4 weeks cancer free now... and feeling fantastic!
 
Wrath....buy Moducare. They say it helps your immune system fight a lot of infections and stuff...and it has cancer fighting abilities also. I have been taking it as general supplement since early this year...and this winter I have not even had a sniffle. They say it helps fighting cancer in that it helps your killer cells recognize the cancer cells better etc.

Anyway...its worth a shot hey. Nothing to loose.

And vasbyt. Chemo is a bitch but you have to do it.
