Chery and Haval real feedback?

just visit a panel beater and you will see chinese cars sitting there waiting for months while other brands are being actively worked on.
pics and records or STFU

Same could be said for French cars, or Korean cars,

also how do you know that they arent waiting for insurance companies to pay and it just so happens to be for those chinese cars...

dont go opening pie shops.

(on a side note you could be right tho :P, but still)

Sorry for offending you!

I think Mercedes here in DBN is the same. Since there is only 1 service center to handle the whole Durban area
That is ridiculous, so what if you are sitting at 14000KM and then book 2 weeks in advance for the 15 000km service, but somehow you have an emergency in that 2 weeks and have to travel 2000km, meaning you wouldve surpassed your schedule by 1000km, is your service plan now cancelled?

They allow a 1500km overrun.

Dealers give you some some leeway if you let them know in advance - but if you like to go over that, its time to start ubering

That applies for any brand.

If you can’t plan for a 1500+ km that’s definitely a you problem.
Nah, just rubbish customer service, that is what it is, People dont drive the same distance every single day, it alternates, so having to plan when you are going to reach the next 15000km seems like unnecessary extra work which is inconvenient for the customer, I know it would be inconvenient for me.

Just booked my next service, and guess what, i only need to book 2 days in advance and not an entire half a month.

I own an Old W204 mercedes. And I havnt had to go through the actual service side. But I hear people complaining there all the time when I buy my spares from there. I see people coming in all the way from Pinetown to do their services there.

The entire service of Mercedes in durban has declined though. I dont have the money to buy a new Mercedes. But if I ever did. I wont buy one because after sales is terrible

Its is not only the service that has declined from Mercedes, even the quality of their new cars is deplorable. It is a dead brand. Good for you for not getting a new one.

Booked my service the other day on Monday for Friday…by my own choice.

They were happy to help me the very next day.

All dealers are not the same.

Also you have an entire 2500km to plan for this, you are really making an issue out of nothing.

At BMW of all places I’ll be lucky if I can get a booking within the following week.

Looks like it is a Durban only problem, another reason to never live there.

It does also speak to popularity.

Like I said above when I need to book my BMW I need to plan at least a week ahead in most cases except oddly when it’s in the festive season, I guess because everyone buggered off on holiday.

And I’m one of those special customers they make a plan for even.
