Chilli sauce reviews

I haven't tried tabasco in curries yet but come to think of it, it could actually go well in certain curries. Will give it a go one day.

Talking about traditional, you probably mean Indian curries here. Some of the spices that are considered Indian subcontinent spices today allegedly don't have Indian origin so surely, at one point of time it was non-traditional to use them.

Point is - what is traditional can change over time.
Agree, traditionally a man married a women, nowadays anyone can marry a coffee table if they so wish

I do not understand why white people put Tabasco in curries. Not authentic at all. It is a jalapeno sauce. Curries are made with traditional spices like turmeric, cumin, cardamom, coriander, garam masala, ginger etc.
If you're talking about the green bottle sure, the red bottle is on the name, they are Tabasco peppers, not jalapenos.

Woolies Habanero Peri-peri is the hottest sauce in my cupboard/fridge at the moment.

I bought this one the other day:

but honestly a bit disappointed - the Woolies habanero still beats it on heat.

And then Joubert & Seuns Orange hot peri-peri sauce is a favorite - can eat it any day. Not much heat but good flavour. My 12-year old son enjoyes the "medium peri-peri" one.

Happy to say I have never witnessed this.

In fact I’ve never seen anyone add anything but plain yoghurt.

No it's tabasco sauce, kinda in the name, that's the pepper used. Though the actual sauce is a brand as well

Nope, the SO was in a hurry, so we basically jumped out, bought 3 bottles of hotsauce and some oranges and got back in the car.

Will make sure I stop there again for some biltong next time we head out to Mpumalanga.

from checkers?
I have seen the red and green in that brand but not that one.

Yes and same price as the red and green one just SOOO much better. Got a slight acidic taste which is probably the habanero. It's not as hot as the green or red but flavour wise the best.

okay red and green only slightly hot. but will try out the habanero.

on a side note, a current favourite is the korean noodles soy sauce, good burn and taste

Yeah they are only slightly hot but I like a chilli sauce that isn't a fire explosion in the mount but decent heat with lots of flavour that is why I like the Habanero. I think it has more flavour. The sauce is also thicker not as runny as the other
