Chilli sauce reviews

The Ma Dolly's has a surprising amount of heat and great flavour, not sure what spices they use but it's nice. Vusa is predictably mild with quite a bit of lemon coming through.

Have you tried the reaper yet?
Was in the fridge for ages then a few weeks ago I started dipping in and it's almost finished. End of chili season cravinh hotter and hotter sauce. It's not scorching but it's hot enough with a decent flavour.

We only buy Indonesian Chilli sauce which we bring back everytime we go there. However in Cape Town some Indonesian food retailers has it.

We also make Chilli sauce ourself, similar to this one. Suggest get a food processor or so that no one else will use, as it can get hot. Same with a pan. We also make Sambal Kecap but thats a different thing and can be very hot, as its both skin and seeds.

Do note though that Nandos XX Hot Chilli Sauce = Tomato Sauce... if youre Indonesian. Anything that makes them sweat, is best to be avoided. Mcdonalds in SA gives you tomato sauce and in Indonesia its Chilli Sauce, so kids gets used to it since small. My son thats raised on Chillies, will eat XX Hot Nandos sauce like a plate of tomato sauce, and still lick the plate clean. My colleague however turns red when eatting mild chutney.....seriously.

Hot sauces are for Mexicans and other white folk, we injuns prefer curries and other Asian dishes. Big difference.
Actually Hot Sauces are for dumb Americans.

Asians eat those Hot Sauces as if its Tomato sauce. They cant handle whats hot in the east. Thats why there is Mcdonalds and Burger Kings in Asia.....for the Americans.

I see chilliheads has a Snotklap V2, but they use extract. I may order a bottle of their sauce that is the same sans extract
