... The mybroadband news "articles" are starting to read more and more like advertisments every day...

Please stop this.

"All cookies are deleted after you exit incognito mode. Google says this mode is great for planning surprises, such as gifts or birthdays"

Yeah right, we all know what this will be used for…

Google do me and the rest of us Linux and Mac users a favour. Bring out our version of Chrome, not running on WINE!

:'( i applied a thiny to make it black.. and it updated and now its blue again.

It's useful for navigating java-bloat sites like the interface the universities use. Haven't found much use for it except that.

I loved it and started using it until it seemed that it used way more data than firefox and opera. My netmeter was very active after a page had fully loaded in Chrome, which doesn't seem the be the case with Opera, so now I am back with Opera. Can't have it eating my cap.
Anyone else found it heavy on data usage?

Google updater tends to run very often with google chrome, so check for that.

Yes, a new "incognito" mode allows you to switch - with one click - to a stealth mode that does not record your movements on the web

This isn't unique.

The only real thing that most people are paying attention to is the focus on javascript. What google has done is thrown the challenge to pull javascript up to a "proper" programming language rather than a scripting language.

I installed it but had issues displaying fonts for my bookmarks, I couldn't read them. Uninstalled and now my computer wont shutdown unless I press the power button on the box. I guess that's the joy of being a beta tester.
I think I will stick with firefox, it does what I want it to without any issues so there is no need for me to change.

Chrome have this very neat Google look to it, but still have loads of bugs. Dont judge it just yet. Remember. Its still in Beta. Wait till it gets out of Beta or when a version 2 comes out. I like the new features though. It opens up my GMail much faster then any other browser.
