Got my Chromecast yesterday - VERY impressed with how well it works, especially now that it can screen cast/mirror my phone (SGN3)! The Netflix issue is a bummer though, as I don't have the know-how to hack my router... is there a step-by-step guide? I have a Netgear DGN2200.

You definitely can with the Plex app... if only Plex didn't manage to overcomplicate the $#!* out of their desktop software!!!

Can you cast anything in your browser to the tv?? Or are you limited to specific content within the browser?

pretty sure you can cast the whole browser.

Youtube gets a 'Cast to Chromecast' button which is nice. You can also open .mp4 (and maybe a few others) files in Chrome and strream directly to the Chromecast. There's also a beta 'Cast entire screen to chromecast' option which does what it says - but I've found it to have a considerable amount of delay (like a second or two).

pretty sure you can cast the whole browser.

Some video streams with weird audio codecs are sometimes flaky but generally you can cast any tab. Last time I checked there was even an experimental option to cast the entire desktop.

If you have a Nexus Tablet with the latest firmware - you can even mirror the tablet to it.
and I finally found out why there was a special - seems there was a number of them - it was the 1'st birthday of the ChromeCast.
Now the question comes to mind - when is version 2 due and what will it have?
