Chromecast Ultra

Recently moved from Telkom ADSL to Vodacom fibre necessitating change of WiFi address. Get as far as entering the new address but, before I can enter the password, I get the error message "Unfortunately Google Home has stopped". Any suggestions?

Try resetting the chromecast.

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried that a number of times.

Is this happening on your phone? Try re-installing google home.

Tried that as well. The two devices are seeing one another and, it seems, connecting, but every time before I can enter the password to connect the CC to the wifi, google home stops working.
