Hey Everyone,
Not sure if there is even a solution to my problem anymore, and my psyche is starting to be affected by all this...
To cut a long story short,
I have had lower back pain for a few years now. I could tolerate it and was almost used to being in pain that it didn't bother me all too much... (My 2 lower discs are compressed but I am told there is not much that can be done for me at the moment as I am underweight due to a very active thyroid...)
I am 22 and I do have a rare chronic syndrome called Ehlors - Danlos syndrome, which is a connective tissue disorder where your body doesn't really know how to process collagen.
With this syndrome comes hyper-mobility, very stretchy skin and a lot of the time, quite a lot of pain flare ups.
Within the last 3 months however, things have gotten significantly worse, my entire back, and now legs are so sore that even walking through spar to get a few groceries is a massive task for me.
I used to do a few exercises to try to strengthen my naturally weakened core muscles but lately I can't bring myself to do so because I am in that much pain.
So I have been to many a doctor and have been prescribed many pain medications, anti inflammatories, but nothing works and I end up just not taking them, because all that would do is mess with my kidneys in the long run.
So to break down my more recent symptoms:
I've had numerous blood tests that all show up normal, ruled out lupus, and all types of arthritis.
Next step is to see a different neurologist, but the appointment I can get is over a month away...
If anyone has any suggestions for pain management I would really appreciate it, I fear that I may end up having to give up my job if this continues and I am really quite down about it.
