I had a boss once upon a time that did that always around lunchtime.

I would give him dirty looks & answer his questions in such a manner that he knew I was annoyed.

Eeeeeeeeventually one day he asked why I was always in a bad mood in the middle of the day.

My answer: I know it's lunch time around then but I really don't appreciate him producing his own lunch & re-chewing like a cow.

That was it - the end. He apologised & went to the bathroom often around that time.....

The one guy at work have a nasty habit of talking while he's chewing. You can see the breadcrumbs flying and now I try to avoid him (and his projectiles) during lunchtime.
