I received 2 SMS' between 19:00 and 20:00 that my data bundle is running low, all good no problem ... Until I realize I have not had my mobile data on since the day before yesterday, the 7th.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 LTE. I get 600MB of data each month, 600 SMS' and 240 free minutes with Vodacom.

31 Aug - 9 Sept I used about 300MB (I know that the Data Usage is just used as a guideline:eek:) . So the amount I have left is 56.40MB, 189min and 486 SMS'. The last SMS I sent was 30/08/2014 and the last call I made was 27/08/2014.

So somewhere in between I lost 543.6MB, 51 min and 114 SMS'.

I may have misunderstood the call person a while back but they informed me that if you are in March you receive the bundle you paid for in March in April and not in March, for example. I am aware of a few ghost sims that have been going around where I live and am afraid that this has happened to me as well. I cannot inquire about this from Vodacom directly as it is not on my name and the owner, my father, is currently out of the country.

I just want to know whether or not this seems right or not.

Thanks in advance :)

I cannot help on the rest....

what was paid at the end of august was sept contract amount plus additional calls you made before the billing date.

example:
lets say billing happens on the 7th (as many do)
on the 7th of Aug VC would have billed you for Sept contract amount, plus calls (not covered by inclusive minutes) - dated 8 Jul until 7 Aug.
That bill would then likely be taken via debit order sometime between the 25th Aug and 1 Sept, depending on what your dad signed for...

My last concern would be a cloned SIM. It is impossible to clone our current SIMs without being a network operator or sim vendor. I would review your account statement and find out who may be sharing your phone. :)
