Knew someone who was married for 20+ years. Then the guy told everyone he is gay, divorced his wife. Children were baffled as they didn't suspect anything...can't say if the wife knew about it... But our 'small' town was shocked about it... small town syndrome...

@Padjakkels.......PM me if you want.....everyone here knows our story already and I don't feel like repeating it....so, in a nutshell, my SO moved out a few months ago after 28 years together and coming out as gay......please don't break a woman's heart so long down the line if you are not sure.......the pain is indescribable!!!

I almost did that :/ Not a proud moment in my life, but I was confused and wanted to be what others call "normal".

Unbelievably there is still pressure on kids, siblings etc to be what others such as parents / society wants them to be.....and some buckle under it. Be it by commiting suicide, or just marrying it and having kids to keep up a front and living a life that is not true to who they are, or fully who they are.

The funny thing is, if lets say it is genetic, it is the straight conservative fcks and the church that has ensured they gay race continues and grows in population. :p

If there is one thing people should do it stop worrying what others say or think. It's your life, and your journey. Live it your way. fsck the rest that do not accept it.

I feel like that even about family. If they find out I'm gay, then so be it. If they do not agree and never want to see me again, then so be it. No skin of my nose. I have friends that care.
