So I have been hearing loads of adverts for this CloudGate and wondering if anyone has one. Is it any good?

Looks like a bunch of yada yada and not much ding ding.

I just spent 10 minutes reading their entire website and I saw that they don't even know what their own product does.
 
Cloudware is similar RDP, the main difference is that is uses different tech so the speeds are better over slow connections than RDP.

What do you mean? Sounds like marketing BS. Its an Android box. Looks like it has this installed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=za.co.cloudware.cw I don't see anything special about it.

What is the monthly cost to access the MS office hosted apps? I don't see pricing on their website. I wonder if the idea wasn't subsidize these boxes (or make little on it) & then make money with the hosting...

You are confusing cloudgate with cloudware.
Cloudware is the layer for hosted applications and cloudgate is a device with the application pre-installed.
I was doing research on it recently as a RDP alternative. You can install the client on your mobile device or pc.
It is more closely related to Citrix interface wise than RDP in that you allow certain applications in the dashboard rather than giving a desktop.
Afaik there is some kind of image transferral which looks for changes rather than the traditional RDP model.
I found it to be faster than RDP, I dont have much experience with Citrix though so I couldnt compare it to that.

OK so its still just an android box with cloudware installed right? I can load that app on any other android device right? So what makes cloudgate special? There are cheaper Android boxes on the market.
