With a pretty large engine in a small engine bay I’d be surprised if you even have access to all the bellhousing bolts, and if you did, I doubt there’s clearance to drop the box while the engine is still on the mounts. The firewall and chassis will fit around the gearbox and bellhousing like a glove.
Because dropping a gearbox on a rear wheel drive car is just soooo hard... /facepalm

He removes the whole thing, there is no need to remove it completely. But see how retarder stupid it is... I have changed clutches on Golfs (Front wheel drive), Isuzu bakkie (4x4) and on my Clubcab Rear wheel drive. It's not science guys... /facepalm. It's a farking Nissan, not a master piece with only a hand full of mechanics being able to work on it.
