With a pretty large engine in a small engine bay I’d be surprised if you even have access to all the bellhousing bolts, and if you did, I doubt there’s clearance to drop the box while the engine is still on the mounts. The firewall and chassis will fit around the gearbox and bellhousing like a glove.

I have changed clutches on Golfs (Front wheel drive), Isuzu bakkie (4x4) and on my Clubcab Rear wheel drive. It's not science guys... /facepalm. It's a farking Nissan, not a master piece with only a hand full of mechanics being able to work on it.

Which typically leaves the mating between the bellhousing and the engine block quite near the firewall, and sometimes even slightly under it. But if all three of the cars you’ve worked on didn’t look like that (or you don’t know your bellhousing from bellend), then perhaps you should have checked what was there before going off on a rant and proving that you’re just a loudmouth who knows squat.

You should've quit while you still had some face to save. Per your figo thread - auto electrician fixed it quickly: so I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt & say maybe 30 minutes then? I did read the thread, no googling required, WTF are you babbling on about google? Seems you're the one with smelly breath. You expect anyone to believe you can change a clutch when you cannot even trace a faulty brake light? Seriously? Nothing special about fault finding. Unless you're a backyard blunderer that is. I'd say it takes a special kind of person to expect anyone to believe he can do no less than 3 different clutch replacements when he doesn't have basic knowledge sufficient to trace a faulty wire!

Was a wire short in the tailgate. Auto Electrician sorted it quickly and was about R 200. Never had an issue after. This is apparently a very common problem on Figos and Fiestas

Here's a video for the 350Z - in case you were not aware it is different to the 370Z.

Slightly more involved than a club cab. Plus, in the video I posted there was no flywheel removal & checking, which is a must IMO.

I am resolute, this is not a job for a backyard bakkie mechanic or any corner garage. Your opinion is different, but then we already know your breath stinks & that opinions are like a-holes. Clutch master & slave will need to be bled upon reassembly too.

Lol its funny how you throw in some ridiculous things just to make it sound more difficult. "You're going to have to bleed the clutch, O No. You need a specialist to do that". Really dude. The only difficult part is lifting the gearbox back into place if you don't have a proper jack for that.

Comparing an electrical issue with removal of a gear box and replacing a clutch which is a pretty simple thing to do if you have at least half a brain cell. Luckily it's there for everyone to read. I don't even need to comment any further

The vehicle in the OP is in mint condition, low mileage too if I was to harbor a guess, yet they think the Flywheel also needs a look at /facepalm.

Either way, guess the OP got the information he wanted. His choice what he wants to do. Some idiots in here are trying to justify their own stupidity paying an arm and a leg just because they can't differentiate a spanner from a hammer.

His clutch is slipping. There is not chatter or jumping out of gear nor any extreme vibrations (all signs of a bad flywheel). Clutches go, and gets replaced

The clutch is worn. New clutch plate and Bob's his uncle.

Google say it has a duel mass , should make it easier tho , good chance clutch and flywheel come as a kit
