Preparing for a race war.

The South Africans pushing the 'white genocide' myth

The group is actively monitored by South African security services in part says an intelligence source is because it displays the same tendencies as terrorist organisation in the recruitment of new members as they prepare for an all out race war.
Suidlanders are a handful of people. They don't even make the South African news. Why do they deserve font size 55.44px as the main headline on the front page of CNN? Also that photo of a fire? It's not like it's a fire from the result of a war or some tragic event. No effigy or flag was burnt. It's just a small bonfire with no symbolism.

The narrative pushing is not even subtle anymore.

“Hello I’m Simon Roche. We represent the white people of South Africa, who are presently being told that they can expect to see a genocide against them,” says Roche in a fundraising post. The video has more than 800,000 views.

Representing all white South Africans, eh?

The main story is laughable.

South Africa has become a twisted meme for the far right online. A favorite for extreme right-wingers like Katie Hopkins, a British provocateur, and Laura Southern, a Canadian alternative media personality, who have developed a substantial following.
Katie Hopkins is an extreme right winger

And unlike Megyn Kelly, Don Lemon still has a job. As far as I'm aware, CNN never even commented on this.

So, yes...
The narrative pushing is not even subtle anymore.
...this.

One of the sub headlins of that story is "Hutus with more guns"
Later in the morning, Human and the others listen intently to a security briefing by a young security specialist named Ern.

Using a Powerpoint display, he gives a detailed explanation of the Rwandan genocide, in which around 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were murdered by Hutu gangs in a 100-day orgy of death.

On the top line of his Powerpoint (in Afrikaans): “Our ‘Hutus’ have many more weapons.”
How can 50 people have more guns than a genocide where 800 000 people were killed in 100 days? This is satire. CNN writes the story like they are a serious terrorist threat rather than a bunch of doomsday nuts like you get everywhere.

Katie Hopkins a right winger
She seems to fit the bill if you believe what's written about her on Wikipedia. It may have to be taken well salted given that the page is locked meaning there's disputes. She's also described as a conspiracy theorist.
