I really got stuck at the Chernobyl mission (on hardened) last night. It's a crazy fight where you shoot and run like a blind mad man. But it's FUN FUN FUN.

To be fair to the game the hardened level should be the standard one. On a lower level it's just too soft on the player.

Play it on veteran, you'll be crying

Also there's "Arcade mode" where it scores your runs through the game.

As for the requirements - it looks great and runs fantastically on the 360, you also have really good skills matchmaking and can mute the 'tards really easily. Just think about it

Online is the new single player!
Too bad in S.A narrowband is soo expensive not all of us can enjoy online play!

Not so much anymore considering you can get 1GB ADSL384 for R169 a month

Best sniper sequence of any game i've ever played. How hectic is the Barret sniping ? Those guilley suits were also fantastically well made.

The post-sniping run-away part was flippen difficult. I eventually just started knifing okes as i ran around. Not exactly the kind of thing you'll do on veteran level i spose

It that post-sniping part that's really hard on the hardened level. It's like the oxygen has turned into lead and shrapnel. If I have time I'll be working on it again tonight.

That last bit in the Chernobyl sniping mission where one is stormed by hordes of shooting soldiers (and wild dogs) is one tough obstacle to cross on the hardened level. I tried for an hour last night and am still stuck ... (shame, my poor keyboard).

I finished the game on veteran difficult in one day... let me just say its HELL on chernobyl at the end when everyone starts storming you. I tried to hide but they just threw grenades like crazy. Took a few tried but eventually I just decided to try and snipe and it worked. The helicopter takes forever to get there!!!!! Awesome game still and awesome in game cinematics.

Oh I'd say around 8 to 10 hours on veteran to finish the game.

If you're a veteran yes. Some of us are hardened only

It is an awesome game ... still 10/10 in my books.

Just finished it on 'medium'. It did go very quickly but I have to say I was not bored for a second. This might be the best FPS I have ever played.
The sniping mission was brilliant. I also enjoyed the C-130 gunner mission, the radio chatter made it sound so real. The reactions when you blow up something huge was great.

Another thing, I think it is great that I can play a brand new game on my old 6600GT, on very low settings, but it looks very decent and plays really well. Not every game developer is out trying to fry my poor GPU it seems.

Done the game twice (normal and hardened) and it was great both times. The first time I enjoyed a game as much (if not more) doing it all over again.

I found the epilogue surprisingly tough on hardened. Veteran level will have to wait for now.

I really hope we get a sequel very soon ... but a couple of months will be even too long.

I'm sure we will get an expansion pack, it just better deliver more than United Offensive for the original.

Good to see developers are still making some brilliant games for the PC!! I've played all the COD games before and they just get better and better.

Looking for new FPS and am considering TOB, but had enough of aliens, zombies, mutants, etc ... so I'm not sure I should go for it.

I played 9 hours on the game, wasnt too bad with regards to length, pretty much the same as em other cods ( i have all 4 now, yippee!)

Finished playing it this weekend and WOW!!! What a game, haven't enjoyed a FPS that much since...well... CoD2

Pretty short but not too bad, it has some good replay value, intel laptops and arcade mode...

**Spoiler alert**i played friday and saturday and am now at what I htink is the last section of the game... am playing it on the second hardest difficulty. its the point where you carry the otehr sniper dude and set up behind the ferris wheel... the wave of tango's that get dropped off in the helicopter is where I was stuck for the WHOLE day yesterday... think I will start again and play on normal to suss out the game and then try super hard again...

fave level is Death from Above...
