Hey guys,

I am looking for some software that could provide functionality similar to Google Wave (for those of you who have watched the video/actually got a beta account. Basically, I need software that would allow users to edit a document simultaneously and see each others edits in "real-time". Anybody know of anything like this?

Collabtive might be the one you are looking for. It is an open source web-based project management software package. It is actually an alternative to proprietary tools like Basecamp. It runs on PHP and javascript. You may opt for paid project management software package which has more features and better functionality. Advantages of paid software packages includes support from the vendor and customizations on its features.
