Maybe you want to adjust your gamma? See http://www.gballard.net/psd/srgbforwww.html and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2026?viewlocale=en_US
Being too cheap to pay for something I can do for free I use the flickr uploader app instead of the aperture one![]()
Have you looked at what it looks like on a PC?It's already set to 2.2 (looks bad on any other setting). Anyway, that doesn't change what the browsers do. I'm already using the "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" profile when exporting, I'll mess around with the others tonight.
there is a free version but it is fairly limited as to what it can do.The Aperture/Flickr uploader is free too.

EDIT - I just did a quick test and got more consistent results across safari, camino, and firefox using the "Generic RGB" profile.
By using the standalone I can use custom automatic naming conventions as well as multiple accounts. There are two different ones. The one I'm referencing does exactly what the standalone one does, the layout is just slightly different.
Both. What's frustrating me is that I'm working through my pics of Scotland. On the Acer screen, any given picture of the grassy hills or the mountains looks very green, deeply saturated. If I drag the same image to the MacBook's display, it looks like it didn't rain at all during the winter. So which is it?
I think I'll just go pick up a Huey from the Apple store today.
When you export versions (shift++e) you get the option for "Name Format" which isnt available for for the plugins. I've saved various custom naming conventions including one for flickr that I use on other accounts. Are we talking about the same program? The one from http://flickr.com/tools/uploadr - version 3.0.5? I don't see anything like that - are you scripting something?

...that I use on other accounts.Inside the flickr app you can easily change between accounts.
It looks flatter in firefox. Still using the sRGB profile? It doesnt surprise me that it all looks the same in windows as afaik it completely ignores the profiles.OK, I just rolled a Windows in VMware and compared FF, Safari and IE - they show up the same. Under Linux it also shows up the same. On the Mac it doesn't. I can't really tell if I'm seeing the right or wrong version under Windows/Linux, since the monitors are very different from on the Mac, but I think the colours look more or less right. How does this compare in different browsers for you?
They're just pages I set up for portfolios, etc. Wishful thinking but you never knowAnything you care to share?

Dunno - I dont actually have a screen connected to my windows PC (its the only other way I know of to avoid ever seeing the BSOD)Even Safari in Windows?

I know but I need it for my uConnect (Skype) so it's hidden away behind the bar - out of sight out of mind.Just not running windows is even better![]()
