Compliments to Virgin Mobile

This is my first post, not that i don't know about networks.Used all networks but with Virgin Mobile download/upload speeds are great on the pc and on the mobile but at times when they go down its hell but when you phone them up they are aware unlike other networks where they talk to you like you saw internet for the first time! VIRGIN MOBILE YOU ROCK JUST GET 3G LOWER YOUR CALL RATES AND YOU GOT ME SOLD :p
What's it like working for Virgin Mobile?:D

Well it was very slow today - had to use dial up - if its not right tomorrow, I'll Newt them (turn them into Newts)

Still on Virgin. Working like a charm. I am seriously going to stick with them if they continue like this. :)

Vrgin is down the whole of Thursday. Cannot get online in Cape Town. The last 3 months or so was a pleasure so I can agree with antowan, but what's happening today?

My virgin experience was OK from the start... But now they seem to have become worse and worse. My Data Card restarts 20-30 times a day. This never happened with MTN.

Just to Mention that getting People to port from Virgin to vodacom is the last thing we should do. This is comeptition after all. And Its Vodacom who is giving us the access to Virgin Mobile in the first Place...

Sometimes when I choose manually select network- Vodacom, my signal strength is perfect (compared to 2 bars from CellC- whos using VC towers as well no?).

But then for some reason my connection gets reset. Same thing happens on CellC network. It makes me wonder if its not just VodaCon being up to their old tricks.

Calling VC R2/MB a "rolls royce" is the dumbest thing ive ever heard.

Developing countries need cheep accessability not a billionaires ride to use when our roads have lots of Pot holes in them.

Lame

Today it's as slow as a dog. It repeatedly times out on many addresses too. I also had 2 spontaneous disconnects.

I get More than 1-2 or even 4 Disconnects but Im sure its Network related (vodacom) not my virtual network. VM wil be my Dial Up method of choice for a long while. Rather than sticking it out with corrupt sellouts like Vodacon.

I dont understand

Virgins got all the experience gained from over seas markets like usa and uk etc.

They should be able to kick @ss with services here in SA. Like mobile broadband. Guys come one now use it...

Thats what I say man! but we all know the Goverment has its social development polocies in place, which they can enforce onto Telkom(owns them), Vodacom(telkom owns them), and ofc Virgin.

They make millions from owning shares in these companies. And give the blaim of negative development in our economy to the slow recontstruction of corporate enteties.

But in the meantime they are pocketing all the way.

Oh my. lol

Actually calling VC 3G/hsdpa 19c/MB a "Royals Royce" is spot on. Calling VM 50c/mb good with there "The truth shall set you free" but "pay me up front for services you never going to get" attitude. Is like trying to turn a hooker into a house wife.

Your ma probably pays for your airtime. The more elite ya feel the more you are going to keep defending them. This is not cool.

Vodacom gave VM access to the south african market. Meaning Telkom gave them access!! Anyone who Trusts Telkom with any venture must have their head examined

telkom is the one who is responsible for connecting towers in the grid. So It could easily be rigged to make Virgin Mobile the slowest of them all. Telkom owns Vodacom who gave virgin the lisence. Its not rocket science this.

Virgin is the one responsible for taking our money and not delivering the sevices we pay for NOT telkom or vodacom. when you buy a "VIRGIN" sim card does it have any TELKOM or VODACOM logo's attatched to it?

When you offer a celluar service to the public and ask for payment upfront "prepaid" and dont deliver that service the problem lays with you and your company, NOT anyone else. You "OFFERED" a service you couldnt deliver, got paid for it and couldnt give a damn about your clients or there complaints afterwards. It's always easy to pass the buck and say "its cause of telkom or vodacom or whoever" The FACT remains YOU were PAID and didnt DELIVER THE SERVICE, therefore YOU are RESPONSIBLE for NON DELIVERY!!
