Looking at getting a new mouse as my Logitech mx518 is not working properly anymore. Been looking at the steel series 310 rival and 310 sensei. Budget around R800 what would you guys recommend.

Where are you getting the Steel Series for R700? I can't find it at that price.

Any specifics you'd like the mouse to have?

I have a logitech G402 that I am very happy with. I paid R775 on Raru last year. They have it for R840 now.

Here's really customisable mouse, if you're willing to go laser and like the design

Here's a Razer option

Look at this list and then decide. He however rates the 310 very highly.

Yeah sorry I see it R800 sensei and for the rival R900. The G402 goes for R550 on https://www.evetech.co.za/components/gaming-mouse-117.aspx

I don't look at Evetech anymore. I don't know how they get their prices that low, but their after sales is pathetic.

According to RocketJumpNinja's list, there G102 is quite good and it costs about half.

The G703 is almost R2000 here and if I had the money, I'd definitely buy it. So I reckon the G305 will go for about R1200

You can also consider the wired G403

G102 ranks higher for the same money. But I think most mice from reputable manufacturers should have good sensors. After that, it's all about personal preference, so your choice would have most certainly been a good one.

RJN reviewed a G402 and combined with the bigger size and slightly less capable sensor compared to the G303 and G502, it didn't make the list. But for me, shape is one of the best, the sensor is still very accurate and I like the extra buttons. I just wish Logitech could make a lightspeed version.
