I know this question has been asked before, but I'd like to know:

Are there any ISP's out there that offer an uncapped ADSL line with 2 concurrent sessions?

I'd like to get an uncapped line for our school, and split the cost with another school. We get more and more dependent on the Internet each year, but the cost of an uncapped line is still too high.

Don't think there is something like that, but maybe somebody has some info that can help me? I currently have a 10GB limit. Not enough for my uses!

Thanx!

More than one concurrent connection on an uncapped account would be every1s dream. Unfortunately its unrealistic and wont happen, unless bandwidth prices drop heavily and competition becomes tight.

Don't know much about VPN's, but here is just a thought. Get an uncap account for one school and then a local only account {about R130 for 30GB} for the 2nd school. Create a VPN and use the 1st school as a gateway to the internet for the 2nd. Not sure how practical it would be, since 1st school's connection will be slowed down by 2nd school's traffic flow. There are a lot more knowledgeable people here who could tell you more about it. Just my 2c, if it is worth that much. ;)

VPN could very well work, infact its prob the best solution if you want to get two schools onto one uncapped account. Only expensive part being that in order to get any decent speeds over that VPN, a diginet line would be required between schools. On that note, its not really viable to go for the VPN when diginet prices are still sky high.

well if the premises are close enough you can set up a wifi connection or something (not sure how legal that is but its not for profit and a closed group) :p. Problem with sharing via the ADSL line itself is this.. it will mean max send rate is 384kbps AND you will incur double traffic(not that it matters as much)
