Why are there games that kick off at 4? dont they know south africans generally work till 5, or are they catering for government employees? :)

whats more important? south africans working till five or the revenues from US and EU broadcasters regarding timezones.

bad point
no one cares about the US, theres no football market there

the europeans are 1 hr behind us or the same time in our winter, hence the games will kick off 3pm their time, they used to late games anyway 7pm,8pm,9pm their time

so perhaps the only people that benefit are the brazilians and new zealanders? and wont it be earlier morning for the kiwis and very late at night for the brazilians?

they worried the stadiums wont have lights after 6pm
 
Why do people always complain? Who cares if they want to start the game at that time.

If Fifa comes in and says that they want this that and the other, why do we have to complain about every darn thing?

I wonder where all the haters and doubters are now that we are hosting the world cup. South Africans were all doubting say we cannot do it, its going to be given to Australia, we not ready etc.

Where are they now?
 
it's going to be interesting. The ticket prices are also decent and hopefully the stadiums are filled up.

The confed cup adverts are out on TV and I think the hype of 2010 is starting to build up. :)

We'll def make it a great tourney...looking forward to it.

Anyways, did anyone apply to be confed cup volunteers?
 
applied for tickets for the semis in jhb, and the brazil vs italy game
hope spain play in those semi's :)

Next year, I see myself sitting at a Spain vs Italy (If not Italy then Brazil) match at the stadium, about 10 minutes away from me. What a game. And all in Bloemfontein :D
 
Great draw for Bafana! disapointed that theres not gona be any matches in Cape Town.
Do you guys think i wil get in trouble if i buy some tickets and give them away in a competition on my blog? No use buying tickets if I cant go to the matches and give them away.
