There's been some confusion recently among web users as to
the media reports of Russian forces attacking and invading
Georgia. As is some web users have been caught off
guard believing it's the US State of Georgia which was invaded
and not the country in the Caucasus Mountains and ex Soviet
republic.

Here's one poster on Yahoo's Answers Service:

You must understand that for a yank, the rest of the world does not exist.
World Series etc etc.

.

This situation with Georgia is serious some fear it could lead to another cold war

You should watch Russia Today on DSTV to get the Russian perspective on this war, they are desperately trying to get their propaganda(citation needed) across :)

I reckon it's a great opportunity for the American state of Georgia to launch a surprise attack on one of the other states just for the fun of it. Everyone is looking the other way at the moment.

LOL! ;) Imagine that!, American Civil War, just because they are too dumb to know that they aren't actually being attacked and the country that is being attacked is thousands of km away.
