Problem is not everyone can just pack up and leave. If I couldn't I would have been gone already.I don't think that will happen TBH - it will destroy the economy and country, but then again looking at the ruins of Zim and Venezuela, who know what lengths our politicians will go to for the populist vote. EFF are hell bent on destroying anything that works, looking at Nelson Mandela Bay as an example, and the ANC pandering to the masses and their Chinese overlords things do look a tad bleak, but the world is a big enough place, just going to be hard to even buy an air ticket with a worthless Rand.
Yep, Twitter makes one feel extremely negative about the future in this country.Do yourselves a favour and just observe the amount of support the EFF and the idea of land expropriation get on social media - The people think he's an African hero. That's one side of the demographic who have access social media (internet), can you imagine the jubilation that the EFF's plan will receive for the people out in the sticks? - "the land is ours, it belongs to us and our ancestors, AMANDLA!"
Twitter is a terrible gauge. Make a comment on one of the posts that make you feel negative. Then view the twitter analytics on your comment. You will see it gets a handful of views. You are letting the opinions, views, and comments of a small minority make you feel extremely negative.Yep, Twitter makes one feel extremely negative about the future in this country.
I have been indifferent for a long time. I am not indifferent anymore. Having had some experience in Zimbabwe I've known what signs to look for, and those signs, presented themselves this year. I don't have answers regarding what I am going to do, but I do know that wherever I go, its going to mean starting completely over at zero, and working upwards. For the moment I am working to complete projects I am involved in, the sort of thing that I surmise, will help me when I start looking for work abroad. You really have this wrong, most young people that I know are taking this very seriously indeed, and have either emigrated, or are in the process of doing so !

I 100% know that. I don't care much for Twitter anymore. Bunch of morons on their phones.Twitter is a terrible gauge. Make a comment on one of the posts that make you feel negative. More accurately, twatter is a place for SS and SJW to spread their wings and be special.I 100% know that. I don't care much for Twitter anymore. Bunch of morons on their phones.
Indeed!More accurately, twatter is a place for SS and SJW to spread their wings and be special.
Twitter may represent a "minority" but that coupled with Facebook and Youtube comments turns into a trend that cannot be ignored. Nobody is advocating pessimism but it is important to observe the signs of populism.
Twitter is just unemployed and unemployable idiots using MTN free data to discuss how to fix South Africa’s problems. If they actually knew what they were talking about, they wouldn’t have time for Twitter - they would be working.
