good day

with the TOP UP you will need to load airtime once your cap is used up and with the straight up you will be billed.
if you are still not sure. please PM me your details and will explain.

regards,
bas

Thanks. Yeah, that is pretty much how I understood it as well.

One more Q.

Can I load a once off data bundle on the contracts(normal and Top up) when needed or will it have to be a recurring monthly bundle?

On top-up, international roaming options are limited.

Thanks ajax. I'm not planning on going anywhere soon so it will not be an issue for me.

Sounds about right from my understanding of top-up although i have never had top up as getting airtime is too much effort for me.

That is pretty much the only reason I would not go Top Up but with FNB they have made it so easy to buy airtime and data bundles so it is almost a non-issue.

The reason I am considering Top Up is because that why I can better budget and track our household cellphone bills.

with the top up you can load a once off bundle but with the open contract it will be a recurring data bundle

Hi

In connection to loading once off data bundle to the straight up top-up contracts, you can only load from airtime at the moment by using USSD to buy data.

Thanks for the advice and information guys.

Think I will go the Top Up route. Buying airtime and converting it is no problem for me. It won't happen a lot anyway.

Now for a final question about the contract itself.

If I sign a contract for 6 months what happens after the 6 months? Does it just keep going on a month to month basis or must I renew agter the 6 months.

Will be using my own phone by the way. Not getting a phone with the contract.

good day

once you have severed your 6 months the contract will go onto a month to month contract until you decide to upgrade or cancel.

Why bother signing up for 6 months if you bringing your own phone?
I just signed up for straight up 100 month to month from the first month.

Prepaid, avoids that vicious animal, the Out Of Bundle Shark, which with Cell-C is nowhere near as vicious as Vodacom's ...
