Controller Alternative

Hi everyone.. If you are planning on buying a USB controller for your PC, think again. If you have a PS1/PS2/PS3 XBox or any otehr controller you should be able to hook it up to your PC..

I have a PS2, there were no more AV ports free on the TV because of the Wii, hard drive recorder etc. So I decided to play Fifa 08 on the PC. I went onto Ebay and found myself a Ps2 controller to usb adapter.. Quite useful. It was $5.99 with FREE shipping.. Did take a long time though. Once it did arrive, I plugged it in and used Xpadder to configure it. With Fifa08 (which supports gamepads) i didn't have to program anything, it auto detected it.

Now it feels like im playing Fifa on the Ps2

Just thought I should let the public know that there is a way to do this

Not quite. The PS3 controller only draws power through a usb cable. It comunicates with bluetooth.

Ya so if you got a usb bluetooth dongle it would work with the correct software

Yup, plugged it into my PC with the USB, when I had Windows on my PC, and it picked up the controller.
