Convoluted OpenServe communications and order process - HELP PLEASE!

I've helping a friend move house this month and get the fibre ordered.

We went with Tech5 as the ISP cause I've used them since 2015 on Link Africa/Vumatel and have had no problems.

The landlord that he rents from left the Nokia ONT behind (thankfully) and we used the OpenServe app to get the B-Number from the Nokia ONT serial. We sent all this information off to Tech5 and they said they would open the line (150mpbs/75mbps) hopefully by Friday (8/09/2023).

We both thought great! This was not the case - Tech5 came back to us stating that OpenServe had told them an ISP had already placed a new order that B-Number and was blaming us for placing two orders. We thought that the landlord might still have their connection open on that line. They don't and it was cancelled 6 months ago.

Its now Sunday (10/09/2023) and nothing has transpired other than Tech5 kinda saying "Oh Ok"
Is there anyone on this forum who might be able to help us or give us some info to get this sorted out?

Hi. DM me the B number if you dont mind and we can check for you what we find.
 
So the B-Number currently doesn't have any orders on it. Hmmm the plot thickens at this point...

We'll have to see what Tech5 says on Monday.
 
It shouldn't matter. The ISP should place a new provide order to get things moving.

Small update. Tech5 has been talking to OpenServe throughout the week and supposedly sorted everything out. Tech5 says the line should now be active. I'll have to wait and see.
 
THE INTERNET IS WORKING!!
After about a week of back and fourth with OpenServe and Tech5 my friend finally has internet.

Thank you to the people on the forum DM-ing me and assisting.

The line was opened today and after load shedding finished at 16:00 the internet finally started working.
