Does anyone know how long it takes to get your PPPOE details after your Octotel line has been activated?
PM a ticket number or account details and we can follow up. They normally let us know and it gets invoiced and processed from there.

@PBCool @TheRoDent Could one of you look into this? #COOL-20200313-393828

I am pretty sure my line is in the holding pool now, but haven't heard back from support today and not sure how long it stays alive in the pool.

I am going to assume no updates on the 50meg vuma line upgrades have been provided as yet, seeing as the link on the cisp website hasn't been updated yet..?

Sure, is your service currently down?

Sam told me that Afrihost hadn't released the line yet, so clearly that has happened now. The pool is such a stuffup. Will see if I can raise someone to help.

It is still live.

Well I mean I might be wrong, but I just assume since it's the 2nd of the month surely by now it would be back in the OS pool. You guys will know more than me in terms of how long it normally takes from a line being released from a isp to the pool.

I just don't want to suddenly be left with no internet if the line gets put in the pool and not picked up.

Hmm is that something they changed then, because @cavedog said it remains active for up to 7 days in the pool. Afrihost sms'd me this morning saying the line was released but mine is also still active and cisp placed an order this morning.

Afaik there is no downtime on OS as it stays alive in the pool for 3 days or so.
That's why I had no downtime when I previously moved isp's.

I've seen differently but I could be wrong, connect team will try again. I suspect some backlogs on the OS systems being the time of month and the demand on installs.

I am not seeing an upgrade in bandwidth - Kuilsriver Vuma trenched...on a 20/2 Cool Ideas....should have gone to the next level....not sure if I need to reboot...both Modem & Ont ...seen some differing opinions as to this being necessary. No urgency, everything working as per contract.... but the extra speed would be a great test for the future. Thanks.
