Bruh is worried about ipv6 meanwhile South Africa soon gonna be 14 hours a day without power....
v6 by nature is a need thing it doesn't particularly improve anything from an experience perspective, it isn't an "internet 2.0" situation.Bruh is worried about ipv6 meanwhile South Africa soon gonna be 14 hours a day without power....
If it works why break it try change it is my motto
I totally agree with you, I really don't see a need for it.v6 by nature is a need thing it doesn't particularly improve anything from an experience perspective, it isn't an "internet 2.0" situation.
For me i don't why people keep posting about it, if an ISP has enough v4 IP's why invest a ton of dev time and resources right now, i watched 2 ISP's implement v6 and it was a lot of issues and that and i could image a lot of extra support ticketsI totally agree with you, I really don't see a need for it.
Like you said it is not suddenly going to be internet 2.0
You make the ipv6 portion opt-in and you shouldnt have a ton of tickets/issues, and those that want it will be more willing to work through the issues with the isp.For me i don't why people keep posting about it, if an ISP has enough v4 IP's why invest a ton of dev time and resources right now, i watched 2 ISP's implement v6 and it was a lot of issues and that and i could image a lot of extra support tickets
