Interesting technology. Something like this could help lower corruption and fight crime, but it can also be abused and used to try control people.

How would you feel knowing cops can watch you being intimate with your partner or watching you while you in the toilet? Its also not just cops that would have access to these type of technologies, wealthy people, good people and bad bad people.

As these technologies become more refined and more people have access to them, I wonder how we can protect ourselves from people that would abuse this kinda tech.

This is really going to impact infosec. Now attackers can watch you type out your passwords.

The future of surveillance is scary, and its arriving.

Now is the time to invest into the emerging market of tinfoil duvet covers.

How is this news? This technology has been around for ages. We have been using thermal imaging cameras in anti poaching for at least 15 years, that can also see through walls, and it’s a hell of a lot more mobile than this supposed AI device.

but you know if it has Ai its newsworthy,
just wait till they put Ai on a toilet cleaning brush, or a Eskom mop worth R200000

Our cops can barely see past their bellies, nevermind through walls. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
