Cops caught on camera 'executing' criminal (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

His actions established the fact that he was not a suspect, but a perpetrator of a crime.
He unlawfully discharged a weapon in a public place and in doing so proved he was a danger to any and all in the vicinity, not to mention that he also shot at the police prior to them making any overtures of arrest.

Correct. What some do not understand is that this incident is but just a symptom of a much broader and serious cancer that infested our society. Cops and citizens are shot at and killed at random yet people bemoan the fact that the society decided it's enough and payback ensues as the cops and the ANC falters in their own constitution and thats to keep us secure and safe.

Sad that it had to come to this but the wild west is coming back!

The underlying issue remains the broken judicial system.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or posted before
There is a new video circulating which shows the initial exchange of fire also captured from a security camera outside a store.
In this video the deceased is clearly shown opening fire on two approaching police vehicles. He discharges his entire magazine at one police car but fortunately does not hit any of the officers. He then proceeds to run down the road.

Now this does not vindicate the officers involved but it sure as hell shows what type of individual they were dealing with.

I will try and find a link in the meantime

Show me where it says that in the criminal procedure act. The term suspect is used, semantics here, not emotions.

Even if you are caught red handed, the law maintains that you're a suspect until convicted. He will never be a convict because he was never convicted...

It's been posted on this thread a few times already. Twice by myself.

Just made it easier for the poster who was looking for it.

They think that it somehow justifies this shooting but someone said earlier that it doesn't add any value to what happened, which I tend to agree with.

Coincidentally, the sentiment here pretty much echoes the sentiment on Facebook - this is a sad place indeed.

Everyone is getting gatvol for the soft stance on serious crime by the ANC gang and the apologetic attitudes shown to the criminals "human rights" while Joe the citizens rights are ignored!

I read the first two pages and gave up...

Has your experiences in SA really made you guys that morally deficient- yes DEFICIENT- South Africans are amongst nationalities that thank God for every second thing they get, but you have absolutely no moral values, none. When you condone MURDER, whatever the circumstances, then you are lower than the criminal that has been executed, and lower than the thug policeman that murdered the criminal.

They already did much more than they needed to, they had the opportunity to arrest him, yet they chose to execute the guy...and they do it because of worse thugs (yes because of your values) on forums and in society that condone murder. You are nothing better than the criminal who shot at the police and nothing better than the thugs who murdered him.

Your society is imploding around you because of your attitude, not because of the crime rate.

You are welcome...
Great post. Unfortunately many are beyond rational thinking, it's always cANCer this or Zuma that...

Oh, and by your reasoning, should everyone take the law in their own hands too, or laud those who do ?
