What do you mean psychologically conservative?New ideas like classifying people by their race and assigning value to them based on it...
One of the amusing things I have observed is that whilst the people in tech and science fields are usually politically left, psychologically they are highly conservative. You introduce a different way of doing things (like do code commenting differently) and there will be more kvetching than handing out bacon pie at a bar-mitzvah.
So, everyone was doing it back then, right? He got a response telling him he has no grasp of the history of medieval Europe.
If that's what you want it to mean. Sure, I guess. You're usually good at extracting points that don't exist. So, everyone was doing it back then, right?

It means you are less likely to be open to new experiences:What do you mean psychologically conservative?
Openness to experience is one of the domains which are used to describe human personality in the Five Factor Model.[1][2] Openness involves six facets, or dimensions, including active imagination (fantasy), aesthetic sensitivity, attentiveness to inner feelings, preference for variety, and intellectual curiosity.[3] A great deal of psychometric research has demonstrated that these facets or qualities are significantly correlated.[2] Thus, openness can be viewed as a global personality trait consisting of a set of specific traits, habits, and tendencies that cluster together.
Openness tends to be normally distributed with a small number of individuals scoring extremely high or low on the trait, and most people scoring moderately.[2] People who score low on openness are considered to be closed to experience. They tend to be conventional and traditional in their outlook and behavior. They prefer familiar routines to new experiences, and generally have a narrower range of interests. Openness has moderate positive relationships with creativity, intelligence and knowledge. Openness is related to the psychological trait of absorption, and like absorption has a modest relationship to individual differences in hypnotic susceptibility.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Openness_to_experienceThere are social and political implications to this personality trait. People who are highly open to experience tend to be liberal and tolerant of diversity.[33][34] As a consequence, they are generally more open to different cultures and lifestyles. They are lower in ethnocentrism, right-wing authoritarianism,[35] social dominance orientation, and prejudice.[36] Openness has a stronger (negative) relationship with right-wing authoritarianism than the other five-factor model traits (conscientiousness has a modest positive association, and the other traits have negligible associations).[36] Openness has a somewhat smaller (negative) association with social dominance orientation than (low) agreeableness (the other traits have negligible associations). Openness has a stronger (negative) relationship with prejudice than the other five-factor model traits (agreeableness has a more modest negative association, and the other traits have negligible associations). However, right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation are each more strongly (positively) associated with prejudice than openness or any of the other five-factor model traits.[36] Recent research has argued that the relationship between openness and prejudice may be more complex, as the prejudice examined was prejudice against conventional minority groups (for example sexual and ethnic minorities) and that people who are high in openness can still be intolerant of those with conflicting worldviews.[37][38]
Regarding conservatism, studies have found that cultural conservatism was related to low openness and all its facets, but economic conservatism was unrelated to total openness, and only weakly negatively related to the Aesthetics and values facets.[39] The strongest personality predictor of economic conservatism was low agreeableness (r= -.23). Economic conservatism is based more on ideology whereas cultural conservatism seems to be more psychological than ideological and may reflect a preference for simple, stable and familiar mores.[39] Some research indicates that within-person changes in levels of openness do not predict changes in conservatism.[40]
Salam. What's annoying is when people are disingenuous. You need to stop taking things personally. We are all friends here, right?
Walekum salam. I agree.Salam. What's annoying is when people are disingenuous.
Interview with the coup leader.
This coup leader is an interesting guy.
Clearly a calculated and planned "coup".
Racist Biden already flexing.
Well I don't think the modern day "far left" is very high in openness. They are only open to their preferred ideology not other cultures or ideas and they are authoritarianIt means you are less likely to be open to new experiences:
And how it links to political beliefs:

Read this entire thread by a nytimes staffer. They attacked the Capitol 20 minutes before the end of Trump's speech.
Let's acknowledge that progress happened DESPITE the theist millstone and not BECAUSE of it.Let's forget that priests were the educators of their day.
I always say this whenever this comes up.Let's acknowledge that progress happened DESPITE the theist millstone and not BECAUSE of it.
Pretending religion was at the forefront of discovery and embraced progress without hesitation is an outright delusion.
I find it interesting because they were not in the crowd at Trump's speech where Trump called for a peaceful protest. Trump didn't incite them but they took advantage of the rallyThanks for this, very well put together timeline.
They took a dump on American democracy — literally.
Some of the unhinged pro-Trump rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday defecated inside the historic building and “tracked” their feces in several hallways, the Daily News has learned.

Okay, let keep it simple with stupid simple views. They should have burnt that damn Gutenberg and his evil inventions.Let's acknowledge that progress happened DESPITE the theist millstone and not BECAUSE of it.
