Surely if a gang of black guys beat up a lone white guy outside a KFC it will be in the news? It is the mob thing that makes these stories to be interesting.

KFC assault accused to find out if they will be tried - 2 years after incident

Five men accused of assaulting a couple at a KFC drive-through section in Montana, Pretoria, in 2017, are expected to learn the outcomes of representations they made to avoid prosecution - two years after the alleged incident.

Marius Harding, DJ van Rooyen, Stephan Nel, Joshua Schultz and Ockert Muller have been charged with attempted murder, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and pointing a firearm in August 2017.

This should be seen as it is, but unfortunately the media twisted it to a point when it is white on black its racially driven, if it is black on white is is merely crime.

Not to open the can of worms but you can look at the farm murders as an example,

More that one black oke kills the farmer ... comes down to crime no race involved.

Appearing briefly in the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court on Thursday, Marius Harding, DJ van Rooyen, Stefan Nel, Joshua Schultz and Ockert Muller heard that the matter was removed from the roll.

This was the instruction of the Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) that further investigations should take place.

More than two years later, after several court appearances and postponements, the matter has still not gone to trial.
