Hi guys

I cracked the screen of my iPad this weekend(dropped it), the crack is not so serious it is on the black border of the iPad nowhere near the screen. So its functional still, only thing is the crack annoys me and attracts my eyes away from the screen.

Does anybody know if they sell a screen protector that has a coloured border around the edges. In other words say for example I want to change the black trim around the screen to a purple,pink,blue,etc , instead of changing the screen/digitizer I just get a screen protector with a purple border, the purple overlaps the black but is clear over the screen.

Or maybe I should buy a new cover which covers the entire black border of the ipad.

I don't plan on replacing the screen as the crack is not bad at all. Just I want it to look as pretty as it did before.

Edit: I see the do sell these coloured screen protectors, only thing is I can only find it on ebay. I dont want to pay over R200 just for shipping. Anybody know where I can get these locally. I am in JHB edenvale/eastgate side.

Buy a new cover that covers it.

You should look into sealing that crack somehow so that it doesn't spread...
 
Depending on the crack some silicone might make it completely invisible to you.

If you're anything like me, covering it up won't make things any better. as long as you know that crack is there, it'll bug the hell out of you. :(
 
I bought a Moshi iVisor for my iPhone that sounds like what you're looking for.

fwiw it's probably the best screen protector I've used.
