Anyone know of somewhere in Durban to get an iPhone 3G screen replaced? Not too keen on sending it all the way to JHB/CPT via post courier ect.

I've just ordered 2x screens off eBay - should be here in about 3 weeks? 1x for my iPhone, so one up for grabs!

Check on eBay for a iPhone 3G screen as well as digitizer (important). The digitizer is responsible for the touch input of the screen.

you'll end up paying anywhere between 2 to 3 grand for a replacement here, the eBay option would be much cheaper.

Also speak to echoZA here on the forums as I think he went this route as he had the same problem.

Nope, I ended up selling mine. Was going to send it to iGear in CPT.

I cracked my iPod Classic screen aswell, is it worth it getting it fixed or should I just buy a new iPod?

I see there are screens and digitizers on bob available for like R700. And it is verified sellers as well.
