how have you ascertained i am more well off than you?

I think he was refereing to the general perception of the school and the children.

My side is not coming from a moral point of view but from seeing how they handled kids at the time at the branch my nephew went to. The one shocking thing for me is that all the stories you hear about the high school in Durban, a large amount of their teachers/hod and head I think, were my previous teachers at the Model C I went to. They basically took the severence offer are went to Crawford.

R30k for kiddies directly implies you well off I'm afraid... hell, my tuition fees at Wits cost that !! (and that's with entrance discounts, and I'm studying Engineering (will be a lil more expensive then other courses).

Again, sending your children to what ever school, for what ever reason, is your concern . There were people in my grade that were coming from million rand families, but were learning at my tiny spec on the map school. Schools are personal things, but your ultimate goal is to send your kiddies to a school which will be of their best interest .

Crawfords is a brilliant school. Pity they dont have one in my home town. I would be more than happy to pay higher school fee`s for their incredibly high quality of education. I know someone who went to school there, brilliant person If you want to create a child thats a leader Crawfords would be my choice.
