Does anyone know which credit bureau is checked by Vodacom before they issue you with a cellphone contract? And then also which one a bank uses?

That is what I thought. But i checked and i have a different score with transunion (the better one) and then a different one with Experian.

Thanks, hoping it is Transunion because with them I have a good score but I don't know what the problem is with Experian.

They all share data these days, so it makes no difference, and most banks etc. will check at least two bureau's anyway. or they use a service such as compuscan that consolidates all the data from all the bureau's into a single report.

The bureau's use different scoring calculations so the same data will give you different scores, but the scores are ignored by the banks anyway, they calculate thier own risk scores using the data.

Transunion and Experian dont use the same scoring matrix, so you cant compare the two.
