Great batting by Stokes in the end. Australia can just blame themself for losing the game and also the bad umpiring continues in this series.

That was an incredible innings. I have never seen anything like that, all the other times in this scenario panic kicked in and someone made a mistake. Stokes kept his cool throughout and played the situation perfectly.

Great innings by Stokes. But what a choke from aus.

Dropped twice ( warner & harris), two missed run outs (harris throwing to the wrong end and lyon matching klusener/donald on how to panic during a runout), then paine absolutely wastes a review that was nowhere close to being out then the next over when he needs its not available.

But in the end test was lost by aus poor batting. You don't serve to win a test match if the innings score you can manage is 250. They had the opportunity in the second innings to bat england out of the game. Didn't do it and it opened the poor for stoke's to steal the game.

You'd always fancy yourself to win if opposition is chasing over 350, so the score was fine. They didn't have a solid batting line up to start with.

It was woeful captaincy that got them. Nasser Hussain kept on commenting about the field placing for a no 11, and Ponting spoke about the bowling at the death.

That review was the nail so was the umpiring.

If Archer didn't sideline Smith in the previous test this would've been there's to take.
