This probably explains why some decent cricketers from all over the world are going to the US all of a sudden. It's probably as much if not more than non-elite Proteas players earn.
I know cost of living is far higher in the US but this is a good salary for a part-time cricketer.

Jamieson is a serious talent. Its unfortunate that NZ won't be able to retain their test nr1 do to lack of games. Only playing 4 tests this year. India & Eng 14 each. SA 7, Aus 8 & Pakistan 10.
