Some decent cricket on at the moment between the Pakis and the Sri Lankans.
The Pakis need 302 from 59 overs in the 4th innings to win, they're currently 231/4 after 45.

I haven't been following this match so I'm not sure of the details about the negative cricket that Sri Lanka were playing. Just opened up Cricinfo now and saw that the Pakis are doing pretty well with so few overs left to chase![]()
Look at Sri Lanka's scorecard for the first innings.
They won the second test and started the third test ( Day 1) with aim of drawing the match to secure the series win.
Jeez, just had a look at the scorecard. Forget the first innings, they dragged it out in the 2nd, scoring 200 in 100 overs. And now in typical subcontinental form, they have every fielder on the boundary when they're up against it.
Bookies .....![]()
Nasir Hossain to Jayawardene, SIX, and with one smack over the midwicket rope Mahela has achieved his seventh Test double-hundred and hurries off the pitch as Sri Lanka have declared their innings on 730 for 6 he barely receives the congratulatory slaps on the back from the Bangladeshi fielders. Ends a marathon innings from Mahela
So as it stands Sri Lanka have a whopping lead of 498 runs, which if you are a Bangladeshi fan will not be sitting quite well as they are left to have to survive potentially two days and a bit if they are to even manage to scrape a draw. All of Sri Lanka's top and middle order came to the party in a big way. Can the Bangladeshi batsmen follow suit? We will soon be able to answer that in about ten minutes time
