WI lack of ambition with the bat coming back to bite them. Big shots but too many dot balls.
 
Hahaha, England weathered the “Gayle Storm” like it was a breeze.
England chased this total down with 6 wickets too spare.

Well played Lads.
 
So all the jizz and fireworks of hit and hope, launching balls out the stadium and setting new records with the most sixes in an innings, did not pay off. It’s good to see skill and good old fashioned running between the wickets can still effortlessly chase down huge targets.

Good point about the running between the wickets. Windies probably lost easily 20+ runs being unable to take quick singles or converting ones into twos while Gayle was out there. You could at times see the frustration from his batting partners.
 
Yeah, bit of a selfish knock by Gayle.

Who was in the commentary box? Ex-West Indian cricketer, heard him mention a talk Gayle had with him about running between the wickets, alluding to the fact that Gayle isn't a fan of rotating the strike.

Was Darren Ganga.

England showed why they are favorites for the world cup. Their odi batting lineup is scary.

If they get the pitches they want for the world cup they will be hard to stop.
