from cricinfo stats ppl:

India total 4+1+4 = 9,
SA total 144 -> 1+4+4 = 9,
SA trail by 270 -> 2+7+0 = 9,
SA ball faced 252 (end of day two) -> 2+5+2 = 9,
SA wickets remaining -> 9,
SA Run Rate 3.51 -> 3+5+1 = 9.
 
jonty prince is even slower than kallis. Cant expect prince to get a move on until he gets to 20 odd. which may take some time yet :(

I know. I am absolutely surprised with Prince - usually he starts ticking the scoreboard over. He is quick between the wickets, but damn....
 
I always remember Prince as a slow batsmen scoring runs very slowly...

We avoided the follow on! ;)
 
I think we'll score more with the new ball in 4 overs time...
cos the ball will come harder onto the bat, and India will use their fast bowlers...
 
nazkul i doubt dravid will take the new ball. they are doing much better now. kumble is effective, sa is struggling to score and spinners are getting turn. New ball will just make it easier for sa
 
I hope so..this is way too slow going..I don't think the pitch is that bad to warrant such a negative approach by Prince and Kallis. They really need to increase the rate now.
 
In fact i think they definitely wont take the new ball...at least till the 85th over too see how things are going. Patel is getting some reverse swing as well (some).

Prince needs to be more positive. We know kallis can change his approach any time. Its just prince thats a little worrying. At least take singles to rotate the strike.16 of 74 balls... :( not good enuf. need to get a move on
 
Hehe...telkom making the tons of the advertising on DSTV...damn bastards. They should just leave cricket untainted...come on Prince! Score some runs and stop blocking.
 
These guys better get a move on. We don't wanna chase a total on the last day.
 
Patel appealing for every ball that's hitting the pads now. Obviously not out but looked so bemused when umpire says no. Even with an extra two stumps it wouldn't have been out.

Hopefully they will be taking the new ball soon. Maybe Gibbs must have a go to force the issue a bit?
