What a sad way for my England cricket tour thread thingy to come to an end
Very disappointing, not sure what went wrong, but it wrong in a big way. We're still a very good team, but still far from being a great team. Cant just perform in patches if you want to be the best.
Still very proud of what they achieved in the test series though.
think I'll go dust of my 438 DVD and try and forget about this series...

but then I heard Nel in for Ntini.... so obviously quota has to be maintained

I think he meant 'shoulder injury'. It all just seems a bit too convenient.
On a side note..not sure if it's been covered in this thread already... but what do you guys think of the "new style" helmets some of the SA players are wearing? I've seen it for the first time when Philander wore it in the 1st game and then I think Nel also wore it as some stage.
Personally I don't like it... yuck

Looks like SA is heading for a consolation victory in the cricket, just like the rugby.
Real sportsmen don't need helmuts.

wow LOL I know we're desperate but still early days hey. Eng haven't even batted yet, in fact not even 20 overs on the board. If Gibbs and De Villiers fall quickly then we're left with Duminy, Boucher and Philander and only Bouch has enough experience.
