Cricket: Test Cricket

Its the kettle calling the pot black. If our players are arrogant than the aussies are the gods of arrogance. Only KP keeps with them as far as arrogance goes. Doesn't mean its a bad thing though. Great players need self belief and arrogance and self confidence are very close.

+1. Australia has a reputation when it comes to being arrogant, we all know that. I wouldn't blame our guys for having their 5 minutes of it when they won the series... especially when we haven't done so in 98 years... but in general our guys are actually pretty decent (in most cases).

They are from South Africa... :D ....DECENT ! :p

Froot i disagree, we can win and remain humble and down to earth. Acting Arrogant can only blow up in our face when they thrash us in the next game and we go on a bad test run, rather be down to earth and take every game as though we could get thrashed.

This is no time to be arrogant and stoop to their level.

+1, I agree 100% killa. Having an arrogant attitude just sets you on the back foot because you tend to underestimate your opposition.

Edit: Take Pontings comments before the test series that SA is not good enough to be no.1 as an example.

With my post I did not mean "be like Australia". Maybe I should rather have said be a good winner and be proud of it, but not exploit it... sound better? :p
Oh and Ponting is usually an ass... we don't expect any less of him.

I see on cricinfo the 3rd test will have pink stumps. Eish!!!

To raise awareness of breasts ...er, no.... breast cancer!

Very cool idea i think, why not raise awareness through sport? whats wrong with that? Maybe the ball should go pink to :)

It would be interesting to see how Australia play in this 3rd test, because the two defeats, and the way they were defeated has probably not been experienced by any cricket team ever, especially in the space of back to back matches.
